BMW Vision ConnectedDrive

Image
The Vision ConnectedDrive is a two-seater sports car concept built by BMW featuring new advanced driver assistance aids. It had its world premiere at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show . [2] Unlike previously named Vision concept cars, BMW has no intention to build this vehicle, but to show off its latest design and technology developments. [3] Exterior Unlike the 2008 BMW GINA fabric skinned concept, the ConnectedDrive features more traditional materials, but in an equally modern design, referred to by BMW's head of design Adrian van Hooydonk as a 'layered surface'. [4] The front grille maintains the BMW style grille, and the front and rear lighting monitor the surrounding traffic conditions around the car. The doors are a variation of the 1989 BMW Z1 , with the outer skins slide florward and the inner door slides backwards. The use of unconventional lighting is integrated into the overall design, from the bonnet area and around the seats to the rear bo

Mercedes Benz F 1015 Luxury In Motion

Image
The car's predecessor, the Mercedes-Benz W111 (produced 1959–1971) helped Daimler develop greater sales and achieve economy of scale production. Whereas in the 1950s, Mercedes-Benz was producing the coachwork 300 S and 300 SLs and all but hand-built 300 Adenauers alongside conveyor assembled Pontons (190, 190SL and 220) etc., the fintail ( German : Heckflosse ) family united the entire Mercedes-Benz range of vehicles onto one automobile platform , reducing production time and costs. However, the design fashion of the early 1960s changed. For example, the tail fins, originally intended to improve aerodynamic stability, died out within a few years as a fashion accessory. By the time the 2-door coupe and cabriolet W111s were launched, the fins lost their chrome trim and sharp appearance, the arrival of the W113 Pagoda in 1963 saw them further buried into the trunk's contour, and finally disappeared on the W100 600 in 1964. The upgrade of the W111 began under the l

Ford Excursion

Image
The Ford Excursion is a heavy duty ( Class 2 ), Extended-length sport utility vehicle that was produced by Ford from 1999 to 2005 for the North American market. The longest and heaviest SUV ever to enter mass production, the Excursion was based upon the Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup truck. A ¾-ton chassis vehicle, the Ford Excursion was designed as a competitor for the 2500-series (also ¾-ton) Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL . [2] Due to criticism over its large size and declining sales, the Excursion was discontinued after the 2005 model year in the United States (Mexico received a short 2006 production run). For the 2007 model year, the Excursion was largely replaced as Ford introduced an extended-length version of the Ford Expedition (Expedition EL in United States; Expedition Max in Canada/Mexico). All examples of the Ford Excursion were assembled at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky ; the last vehicle was produced on September 30, 2005.

Ford Raptor

Ford revealed the 2009 F-150 design at the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit . Development began under chief engineer Matt O'Leary in November 2003 under the code name "P-415", after P-221 production began in June 2003. [3] General design work was done under Patrick Schiavone into late 2005, with further exterior changes taking place during late 2006 to the tailgate design and wheel lip arches during a development hiatus. The final design freeze later took place in early 2007. [4] Production of the series began in October 2008 at Ford's Kansas City Assembly Plant . [5] Ford originally planned to expand the F-Series platform by reintroducing the F-100 as a midsize truck. Known internally as P525, the F-100 would have served as the global replacement for Ford Ranger in 2010 or 2011, [6] The project was ultimately shelved, with the company developing the Ranger T6 as a global midsize truck and in North America, Ford focused on dev

Lincoln Navigator

Image
The Lincoln Navigator is a full-size luxury SUV marketed and sold by the Lincoln brand of Ford Motor Company since the 1998 model year. Sold primarily in North America, the Navigator is the Lincoln counterpart of the Ford Expedition . While not the longest vehicle ever sold by the brand (it is shorter than the 1958–1960 Lincolns and the 1969–1979 Lincoln Continentals), it is the heaviest production Lincoln ever built. Considering its Ford counterpart, it is also the Lincoln with the greatest cargo capacity and the first non-limousine Lincoln to offer seating for more than six people. The Lincoln Navigator was the first Lincoln (aside from the ill-fated Lincoln Versailles ) to be produced in a factory outside the Wixom Assembly Plant since 1958. From 1997 to 2009, production was sourced at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan . Since 2007, production has also been sourced from the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky .

Suzuki Ignis

Image
The Suzuki Ignis is a subcompact car that was produced by Suzuki between 2000 and 2008, replacing the Suzuki Cultus , and subsequently as a small crossover from 2016. The Cultus retailed under various names globally, notably as the Suzuki Swift . While the Cultus-based Swift was replaced by the Ignis in Europe and Australasia, Japanese models were in fact badged Suzuki Swift —thus debuting the "Swift" name in that market. The word " ignis " is Latin for "fire". As a result of a venture project between General Motors (GM) and Suzuki, the Ignis, from 2001 also formed the basis of the Chevrolet Cruze . The Cruze sold throughout Japan as a Chevrolet, with Australasian -market versions badged Holden Cruze . From 2003, Suzuki of Europe adopted a lengthened version of the Cruze as the Suzuki Ignis—representing a facelift of the original Ignis. In the same year, Subaru adopted the car as the Subaru G3X Justy , also exclusive to Europe.

Suzuki Kizashi

Image
The Suzuki Kizashi is a mid-size car [2] manufactured by Japanese automaker Suzuki . It was unveiled in the United States on July 30, 2009. [3] The Kizashi went on sale in Japan on October 21, 2009, [4] in North America on December 1, 2009, and in Australia and New Zealand on May 11, 2010. [5] It is the first mid-size Suzuki automobile sold in the Australian market. [6] In February 2011, the Kizashi became available to the Indian market. The car was also available on European markets. In December 2013, Suzuki announced that Kizashi will be gradually discontinued on global markets, and will not get a successor. In December 2014, the production of the car ceased in the Sagara plant. Despite good technical record, the car had suffered from poor market record in the context of global financial crisis and Suzuki's withdrawal from American market in 2012. Comparatively high price and lack of available engines also contributed to the poor sale. [7] [8]

Rolls Royce Sweptail

Image
The Rolls Royce Sweptail is a one-of-a-kind the most expensive car in the world, after the Bugatti Chiron that costs around $2.9 million.  The Rolls Royce Sweptail unveiled this weekend at the Concorso d’Eleganza at Villa d’Este, on the banks of Lake Como, Italy, has now snatched the title multiple times over for being world’s most expensive vehicle till date costing around a whooping $12.9 million! Rolls Royce Sweptail The Rolls Royce Sweptail is inspired from the coach builds of the 1920s and 1930s and is completely hand-built. Sometime in 2013, a specialist of Super-yachts and aircrafts walked in the House of Rolls Royce [1] with a unique idea in mind. The owner of this vehicle was very precise of what he wanted. A gigantic sloping panoramic glass roof that sits on a 2-seater luxury coupe. More than safety features and emission norms, Rolls Royce was better focused on the kind of luxury they did put in to make this car feel like a lavish yacht on whe

Ferrari F60 America

Image
This car was the company’s way of celebrating 60 successfull years in the North Anerica. And if you think the name couldn’t be more patriotic, well than you’re wrong. The F60 wears a Stars and Stripes colour scheme that looks really cool, to be honest. The supercar is quite similar to the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. It comes equipped with a 6.3 Litre V12 engine full speed of 60 mph in only 3.1 seconds. The flag also pays tribute to the Ferrari’s rich past as Ferrari built several regional supercars back in the ‘50s and ‘60s

Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio

Image
The  Ferrari  Pininfarina Sergio is one of the most illustrious cars ever built. The legendary design housePininfarina was the one which crafted it. The Sergio is basically a Ferrari 458 Spider but the interior and exterior are redesigned. The Sergio is lighter, quicker, and has better handling than the 458 Spider. The Sergio’s purchase process isn’t as simple as one might think. The only way you’re getting this car is if the automakers think you deserve it. With an asking price of $3 million, the Ferrari Sergio isn’t the most expensive car on our list. It is, however, one of the most highly-coveted vehicles in the world, as only six were ever made.

W Motors Lykan HyperSport

Image
The first supercar that was made in the Middle East, credited to the W Motors, only 7 of these bad boys were made. It is rumoured that most of these cars belong to the Abu Dhabi Police, and if this makes you curious, the Abu Dhabi Police already has several Bugatti’s and Lambo’s under its belt. But, even its appearance in the film  Furious 7  when Vin Diesel dives off two buildings (and a third) in a Lykan HyperSport, wasn’t enough to sell them all. Maybe because some people believe that the Hypersport is way too overpriced, well we’ll let the car speak for itself. The car is equipped with a 3.7 Litre Twin Turbocharged engine and can do 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. It is also the first car to embed actual jewels in the headlights. The buyers can choose between diamonds, rubies or sapphire.

1967 PONTIAC GTO

Image
1967 PONTIAC GTO, THE MOTHER OF OLD SCHOOL MUSCLE CARS The 1967 Pontiac GTO, one of the most famous muscle cars ever to have been designed, can undoubtedly receive the title of “best old school muscle car” ever. Provided that one performs a brief Google search for the best or the coolest or the most famous muscle cars in the world, there is absolutely no chance of the Pontiac GTO not showing in results. 1967 Pontiac GTO Muscle Cars, by definition, were American cars that appeared in the 50s and that distinguished themselves by a number of features: 2 doors, a V8 engine (most of the times, added by the car owner later on), formidable speed and a considerable degree of coolness. Among the famous exemplars, the 1955 Chrysler 300 C, the Plymouth GTX40, the Plymouth Road Runner or the Holden Monaro GTS 350. A BRIEF HISTORY OF THIS VEHICLE The “Goat”, as it was nicknamed back in the days, is considered to be the first genuine muscle car. Thanks to its trademark, the split gri
